​​The Senior Design course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of design principles, processes, and techniques. It encourages students to think creatively, critically, and ethically while applying design concepts to real-world problems. This course emphasizes the development of practical design skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication in the context of various design disciplines.

Course Objectives:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of design principles and elements.
  2. Apply design thinking methodologies to identify and solve complex problems.
  3. Explore and experiment with various design techniques and materials.
  4. Develop proficiency in using digital design tools and technologies.
  5. Foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking skills.
  6. Understand the ethical and sustainable aspects of design.
  7. Collaborate effectively in design teams.
  8. Present design concepts and solutions professionally.

​ATAR Eligibility

Students need to study at least 4 GENERAL and maximum of 1 APPLIED or 1 Certificate III subjects to be eligible for an ATAR.
