All enrolled students are automatically placed in a general class which teaches the Australian curriculum (7 – 10) and QCAA Curriculum (11 and 12). Noosa District SHS also provides a range of signature programs to cater for students with particular interests or talents. Students who are interested in our signature programs must apply using the application forms available on the right-side of this page by the due date and understand that a contract of expected behaviour and effort must be signed.
The Senior Summit Class is focused on providing a tailored mentorship program for our high achieving students heading towards a university pathway. The program is supported by the University of the Sunshine Coast, and provides students with educational and wellbeing support, focusing on equipping them with the tools to develop high level study skills and provide experienced staff tutorship for academic excellence.
The application criteria to apply for Senior Summit is:
- Studying 2+ of these subjects: a Science, Economics, Maths Specialist, Health subjects, Languages;
- 5+ General subjects;
- Maths General or Methods;
- English General or Literature;
- GPA in Semester 1 Year 10 of 3.7 or higher.
