Cultural Excellence

At Noosa District State High School, we aspire to be aware of others and their cultures whilst celebrating those aspects and rituals that unite people. In a variety of ways we continue to develop Cultural excellence at Noosa District State High School.

Sporting Excellence

Noosa District SHS has a proud tradition of sporting excellence where students have the opportunity to shine both as individuals and as part of a team.

All students belong to one of four houses – Eerwah, Cooroora, Pinbarren and Tinbeerwah (our local mountains), where they have the opportunity to participate in both friendly and competitive sporting carnivals and events throughout the year and earn valuable points towards individual Age Championships and overall House Champion each year.

Leadership and Civic Excellence

The promotion of student leadership is a significant feature of successful education communities. Noosa District State High School actively provides opportunites for leadership in each and every year level. We offer a Junior Secondary and Senor Secondary leadership structure in which students are selected into positions.

Community Engagement

Our broader community plays a significant role in contributing to and supporting our school. We take pride in our community relationships by engaging in collaborative partnerships to enhance outcomes.
