Essential English: is an APPLIED Subject, which can count towards a student's ATAR as their one APPLIED subject. This should be the English a student selects if they struggle with English but want to gain an ATAR. This is a course with a focus towards students going onto into the workplace, or as an alternative pathway for further study. This subject has a focus on explaining information rather than analysing.
