English and Literature Extension is a one year course of study in Year 12 and is an Extension Subject which counts towards a student's ATAR if it is one of their top five subjects. It is a course with a focus on literary theories and applying these theories to others' texts and individual texts - see Senior Subject Selection Handbook for details. Students must be receive a B result in Year 11 English is a prerequisite for entry to this subject. This course is scheduled during Block 7 and requires independent thought and application.
