Year 10 Japanese covers the four core skills of language learning, listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as cultural components that as a whole should enable students to become confident language learners. Lessons and activities for each skill area are made as enjoyable and motivational as possible. While Japanese writing can be seen as something difficult because of the different scripts to English, we like our students to embrace the difficulty and enjoy the challenge. Rewards to success in acquiring another language such as Japanese are enormous.
