Computers and Technology

Noosa District State High School aims to support your child’s education through the ubiquitous use of technology. Our school has an ever increasing digital presence, promoting the technological skills necessary within today’s society. We also operate a large virtual library containing course material across faculties which is available for students, teachers and parents. This allows students to store files in the cloud and provides access to course material used in classes. Revision material, ClickView videos and assessment tools (TURNITIN) are all available here.

Both campuses operate bring your own device (BYOx) as the preferred model.

Computer loans and rentals

BYOx students who have computers in for repairs are eligible for day-loan machines. Please contact our technical staff to discuss these arrangements.
Families that are under financial duress need to speak with our Guidance staff regarding computer availability and support.
Limited rental arrangements are available at the Cooroy campus only. (Parents please be aware rental machines are four years old)

Computer technicians are available from 8.00 am to 3.15 pm Monday to Friday at the Cooroy campus. Technicians are available at Pomona campus Tuesday and Thursday mornings. For assistance at both campuses please use the e-mail address below.
