Two Noosa District State High School Year 8 students have been invited to compete at the 2013 Federation of International Sport Aerobics and Fitness World Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia from October 14-20.

Year 8 athletes Portia Kross and Zoe Schafer trained extremely hard at the Champs Sports Aerobics Club, Tewantin and outclassed their competition at the National Championships held in Melbourne recently.

Portia and Zoe are the first Champs Sports Aerobics Club members to have achieved at this level and they are determined to perform at their best against elite competitors from all over the world.

Both girls are also very excited to be receiving a National tracksuit.

Club Manager Deidre Bryant is extremely proud of the girls’ success.

Noosa District State High School staff and students wish Portia and Zoe all the best at the Nationals.
