HOUSE COORDINATORS

House Coordinators take a keen interest in the welfare of students in each house. They provide continuity of contact for students and their families through 5 years of schooling. House co-ordinators work with the HOD Student Services and HOD Middle School on student welfare issues.

1	Welfare
	first point of contact for families (referral of issues from there)
	management of concerns re settling in, friends, going on holidays, family matters
	liaison with relevant HOD's / Deputies re issues of concern
	liaison with class teachers re issues of concern
	liaison with Welfare Team
	uniform organisation - uniform room, liaison - T/A to ensure returns etc.
2	Harassment
	Harassment Referral Officer?s for initial and low level incidents
	referral to HOD, Student Services / Guidance Officer for advice / further action
3	Subject Tracking
	working with students / parents on subject selection / tracking
	Yr. 8 - Semester 1 Year 10
	Semester 2 Year 10 into 11; Year 8 into 9
	share in SET Plan interviews
	liaise with TT Deputy
	liaise with HOD?s regarding subjects
4	Roll Group Teachers
	liaison regarding students
	building networks for House events
	creating a welfare network
5	House Events
	engendering a team spirit for carnivals
6	House Leaders
	organising elections in consultation with HOD, Senior Schooling
	developing leadership role with these students
	involving them in House events
7	Choices/Alternative Program
	liaise with Guidance officer/Career Team re choices program
	lead the development of alternative activities TAG
