Year 12 Students Graduate |

.jpg) It was standing-room only during the Year 12 graduation ceremony at Noosa District State High School on November 20. The ceremony officially acknowledged the end of the secondary education years for the students. Watched by teachers, parents and friends, the students walked across the stage floor for the last time to receive their graduation certificate.
 They then continued on to their formal dinner. Head of Department, Patty Riley, said while some students were a little apprehensive of what awaited them, other students welcomed the chance to meet new friends and to experience life outside of the confines of the classroom.

Parents and friends of Noosa District State High School students celebrated the successes of the students at the recent awards nights. Held over two evenings, the sporting, cultural and academic achievements of the students were showcased.
The Senior Dux was awarded to Sarah Robertson, while the Caltex All-Rounder Award was received by Mikaela Schlumpf. Congratulations to all students on their fine efforts during the year. |

As part of an Education Queensland Smart Classrooms initiative, Noosa District State High School teachers are in the process of receiving their new laptop computers. As part of the “Computers for Teachers” program, teachers will be encouraged to incorporate digital learning into the curriculum. |
